Evaluation

  • I tried to use recent information such as the YouTube videos, some of the information was not that recent as they are from educational websites. The main concept of Digital Technologies will stay the same, there will be some new technologies added onto continuously.

  • As of my knowledge, all of this information is relevant to my topic.

  • I didn't include anything irrelevant here.

  • I tried to use some language in a way that it would target the correct audiences, Year 7 and Year 8 students.

  • I do think that this website engages audiences because of the aesthetic appeal and fun images and YouTube videos.

  • I don't think that the information in this website is difficult to find, I actually think it is rather easy.

  • The content is easily available in this website.

  • Navigation is easy.

  • I did provide sources for the ideas that I found online, but some of the information deliberately does not have sources because they were not found in the internet, they were from general knowledge.

  • When I went through the website, I did not come across much errors and the ones I did, I fixed them.

  • The purpose of the website is to educated Year 7 and Year 8 students of Digital Technologies.

What I did well:

  • I think the aesthetic appeal is evident and the added bonus of the YouTube videos made quite a difference as well.

  • I think that I linked just about everything.

  • I think that an important part of this assessment is actually trying and attempting to do well and I think that I actually tried to do well.

What I can improve on:

  • I think that one way that I can improve is to have done this assessmemt earlier so that I could have had more time for research and such.

  • I also think that for some pages, a bit more information could have been appreciated.
