Take some time on Sunday to say thanks for being awesome to your Dad, Pop, Grandfather, Uncle, Older Brother or male person in your life that cares for you. You may like to make a craft for them, below are some craft ideas.
If you have some paint and large paper you might like to make a print of your grown-up’s favourite shoe (or the grown-up’s foot, if it’s not going to be a surprise) and a child’s footprint. Use complimentary colours or favourite colours. You may need to stick two pieces of paper to fit a large shoe. Don’t forget to date the artwork.
If you have some rocks in your garden you could create these fun punny paperweights. You could use permanent markers or paints to create pictures of your grown-up.
If you like Star Wars and puns, try this craft. Paint green onto your hand and brown onto your fingers to create Yoda’s head and body. Then add in green ears and details in black pen. Caption your card with Yoda Best!
Use Duplo (they are bigger and have more room to write), Lego or other building blocks to create a ‘Building Memories with my Grown-Up’ sculpture. Write the activity or memory on three sides and the date that you created the memory on the fourth side (or leave blank if you haven’t done the activity yet).
Here's a list of 65 things to do. You can try some of these or use them for ideas to come up with your own activities to do around your home.

Are you celebrating Halloween with you family this year? It's still important to stay COVID Safe while you are having fun.
If your children are trick-or-treating this Halloween, remember to have fun in a COVID-safe way:
Carry hand sanitiser with you and use it often.
Stay in small groups under 20 people.
Keep 1.5 metres away from other households.
Use a disposable bag for trick-or-treating and throw it out afterwards.
Stay local, avoid crowded ‘treat streets’.
Only accept treats that are individually wrapped.
Don’t share your treats with others from different households.
If you are giving out treats this Halloween:
Hang individually wrapped treats on your fence or gate, or put them on a tray outside your house.
Organise a treasure hunt outside to avoid people coming to your house.
Get creative and build a ‘lolly chute’ so you can stay 1.5 metres apart from trick-or-treaters.
Help us stop the spread of COVID-19 this Halloween and always remember to:
keep 1.5 metres apart
practise good hand hygiene
stay home and get tested immediately if you’re unwell
