National Fairy Bread Day (24th November) was an opportunity to not only support children living in foster care, but it was also a chance to put literacy skills into practice, by encouraging students to follow a simple recipe. The best bit? Getting to eat the end product!
Thank you to Miss Kris and Miss Ella for supporting the students to enjoy this experience. Mrs Baxter donated a dollar on behalf of every student in the school to the Pyjama Foundation, who help provide resources and assistance to children in foster care homes.
Winners all round!
Mrs Honor has led the students on a wonderful learning journey over the past few weeks. They've covered topics such as how to make a water filter using natural resources, multiplication and fractions and creating descriptive and engaging texts.
