Braxton has been invited to join the Tomaree Public School JAECG as a Vice Secretary. He and Mrs Baxter recently attended a very engaging and informative two-day camp at Murrook, along with other junior leaders and teachers from local primary and high schools. Students and staff engaged in a moving smoking ceremony, discussed their critical roles in their leadership teams, learnt vital skills in leading others as well as growing their understanding of cultural knowledge, including some Gathang language and going on Country to visit historic middens. 

From 2026, Braxton will help lead a JAECG group at Bobs Farm PS, that will involve interested Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal students to help develop our collective knowledge and understanding of culture.
