This week’s international play in our K-1-2 class was truly student-led, showcasing the creativity and collaboration of our young learners. The P&C will be delighted to hear that their generous donation of magnetic tiles remains a firm favourite, inspiring children to explore a variety of imaginative uses. This week, the students extended their skatepark by designing their own jumps and developed important problem-solving skills while constructing towers with the tiles. They also enhanced their imagination and teamwork as they engaged in creative play with the Sylvanian toy house. It has been wonderful to see their enthusiasm and creativity flourish through these activities.

This term, our 3-6 students have been busy developing their writing skills by building on the poetry work they began last term. As a class, they collaborated to create a moving ANZAC Day-themed poem, demonstrating their growing confidence and creativity. I have been truly blown away by the beautiful ideas they have contributed and the heartfelt way they have expressed these through their writing. It’s been inspiring to witness their ability to craft a text that captures both the significance of ANZAC Day and their own thoughtful reflections.
