Our ANZAC Day assembly was a heartfelt and memorable event, and we extend a massive thank you to all the families who attended to support this special occasion. A big thank you goes to Corporal Damien Smith from RAAF Base Williamtown, who stepped in at the last minute for Flight Sergeant Hodgson, demonstrating true comradery and mateship. We also thank Kaylee Hodgson, who shared her personal experience as a RAAF child and spoke about how her dad has missed approximately 18 months of her life due to his deployments; doing what he loves—serving his country.
We were also very grateful to all the students and families who took part in the ANZAC Day march, where our students represented the school with great pride and respect. A special thank you to the families who helped make this possible — Mrs Moore and Mrs Hodgson were especially appreciative of your support.
