Plants & Pollinators

Session Summary


We will learn about the life cycle of plants and how pollination occurs.


We will learn about the link between the life cycle of plants and pollinators. Students will learn about a variety of different plants and pollinators.


With guidance students will be able to create a pollinator using found pieces of nature such as leaves, sticks and seeds from the garden.

After the session students can share their completed artwork with photos posted on our website. We will include a button here and on our gallery page after the session to share.

What to bring

  • a collection of leaves, twigs and seeds found in the garden

  • a pencil

  • a few pieces of paper or a nature journal (if you don't have a journal or exercise book, you can make your own!)

Optional

  • pencils of different weights... e.g. 4B, 6B, 8B, HB, B

  • coloured pencils

  • watercolour paints

  • textas

  • glue

  • ink

  • tiny treasures from nature
