Bio-Security is the measures that protect plant and livestock industries against the bad pest and diseases entering and spreading on farms. Making sure that we protect farmers is a shared responsibility.
There are are seven ways to reduce the spread of pests and diseases.
We believe that if we don't share this responsibility the similar consequences might happen as we mentioned in "Food Securities". Because if crops fail and live stock industries are affected, this will result in failed farmers, loss of jobs, high unemployment, government needing to support both the unemployed and farmers, people will might lose their farms or houses if they cannot make pay their mortgage. They will not have enough money for food and shelter. If Australia starts to import foods then Australians will need to pay more for food and clothing. This would be disastrous.
