EXPLORING GOOD BUGS AND BAD BUGS WITH EMMA
Students were excited to explore the different types of bugs.
They were surprised that there were good bugs.
And freaked out when they saw some bad bugs.
FROM THE PADDOCK TO THE CLASSROOM
Emma explained they use moisture probes to determine whether they needed to irrigate. We learnt that growing cotton meant sustainable water usage.
They capture data and can immediately analyse it at the paddock. We learnt that farmers use data to ensure they are using sustainable practices.
Emma showed us some weeds. Students questioned whether this was good or bad.
