Mythical Creatures - An imaginary being of myth that typically has various human and animal parts.

Urban Legends - A story or fallacious claim circulated as truth due to hearsay.

Ghosts - Spirit or apparition of a dead person that can not move on for a certain reason.

Vengeful spirits - A spirit that has returned from the afterlife to get revenge for a violent, cruel or unnatural death.

Electromagnetic interference - Unwanted noise or interference disrupting an electrical circuit or path.

Thermokinesis - The fictional ability to manipulate temperature by speeding up or slowing down molecules, using brain power.

Telekinesis - Supposed ability to influence a physical system or move objects with mental power.

Teleportation - Transfer of matter / energy from one point to another without physically travelling there.

Intangibility - Incapable of being touched.

Haunt - A ghost that manifests itself in a specific place regularly.

Mermaids - A mythical aquatic creature with the upper body of a woman and the lower body of a fish.

Amphibious - Able to live in both land and water.

Zoolingualism - Fluently able to communicate with animals.

Pods - A group or school of marine animals.

Merfolk - Mythical aquatic creatures with the upper body of a human and the lower body of a fish.

Talons - A type of claw on an animal.

Gill slits - Individual openings to gills.

Pelvic fins - Fins on the underside of a fishes body that helps the fish to balance.

Dorsal fin - Fin on the back of an aquatic animal e.g. fish or whale.

Water maneuverability - Ability to move with ease under or on water.

Regeneration - Process of renewal, restoration and healing of wounds and imperfections.

Anatomy - Bodily structure of animals and other living organisms.

Aquatic Creature - Any animal that spends most of it's lifetime living in water.

Reproductive System - The system involved in producing offspring, including tissue, glands and organs.

Gestation - Process of development inside the womb from conception to birth.

Fertilizes - A substance, artificial or natural, added to soil to improve growth and health.

Adapted - When an animals organisms have adjusted to increase the animals chance of survival in a certain environment.

Skeletal Structure - An animal's central framework consisting of bones and connective tissue.

Homo Sapiens - The species modern humans are biologically classified as.

Migrate - Movement from one place to another.

Bunyip - A mythical monster from Indigenous Australian folklore that is said to inhabit waterways.

Elongated - To be long, especially in relation to width.

Unsubstantiated - Something that has not been proven by evidence.

Pre - historic - The period of time before written / literary records.
