There are many channels of communication operating between the school and community. Please see below:

These are used to communicate more detailed and personalised information to students and parents, such as school policies and semesterised reports.

SchoolBytes - This will be used to communicate information about school events such as excursions and assemblies.
We regularly use this platform to send outstanding contribution sheets. SMS - This will be used daily to advise of student absences.
Visitors (including parents)
All visitors to the school are required to report immediately to Reception in the Administration Building after being given access through the pedestrian gate on Stewart Street. All visitors will be issued with a visitor’s badge. Unless offering directions to visitors after they have signed in, students are not to talk to anyone on the grounds.
Mobile Phones
The Department of Education Mobile Phone Policy states that students are not able to access mobile phones during the school day. At Macarthur Girls High School, our mobile phone policy requires students to have their phone off and away during the school day. Parents are therefore reminded not to phone their child's mobile phone between 8.55am and 3.15pm during the school day. Urgent messages can be made by contacting the school office.
