The excitable genie popped out of her ornate bottle in a cloud of smoke. The air surrounding us suddenly smelt sweet. There in front of us stood an enormous genie. She had glorious black hair that flowed down to her hips. The beautiful genie was dressed in a magnificent purple and gold jumpsuit. When she turned to face us, the genie’s gorgeous eyes were like brilliant sparkling crystals. She opened her mouth to speak and, to our surprise, out came a thunderous voice. “My name is Gloria and I’m here to grant you three wishes,” sang the enthusiastic genie.

We Are

Music: Count Us In 2019 Program

Music and Lyrics: B. Cavanagh/A. Farnan/J. Foreman/S. Mlaih/R. Nair/J. River

[Verse 1]

We're losing faith

And things won't change

Stuck inside a rainy day

The road is long

We stay strong

We can find a better way

[Pre-Chorus]

All we need is a little music to lift our spirits high

Stop and listen to the rhythm and just remember...

[Chorus]

We are people

We are more

We raise voices

We are strong

We sing songs

We're musical like

La da da da

Go to space

We're astronauts

Fireworks about to burst

We light up the universe

Like la da da da da

[Post-Chorus]

You're not alone

You're not alone

Just let the music take you home

You're not alone

You're not alone

Just let the music take you home

[Verse 2]

Why can't we see a better dream?

Put our differences aside?

Turn it round

The sun is found

Sing together side by side

[Pre-Chorus]

All we need is a little music to lift our spirits high

Stop and listen to the rhythm and just remember...

[Chorus]

We are people

We are more

We raise voices

We are strong

We sing songs

We're musical like

La da da da

Go to space

We're astronauts

Fireworks about to burst

We light up the universe

[Post-Chorus]

Just let the music take you home

You're not alone

You're not alone

Just let the music take you home
