Celebrating 100 Days of Learning in Kindergarten!
Kindergarten had the most exciting and memorable day as we celebrated our 100 Days of Learning! This special milestone marked 100 incredible days of growing, learning, and having fun together at school. Our classrooms were buzzing with excitement as we took part in a range of hands-on, creative, and joyful activities—all centred around the number 100.
The day began with some delicious fun as we made our very own fairy bread to enjoy together. We loved counting out the sprinkles and turning our bread into colourful, tasty treats! One of the highlights of the day was when our wonderful Year 5 friends came to visit. They sat with us and helped us make bright, sparkling crowns to wear proudly throughout the day. It was so lovely to work with the older students, and we were so grateful for their help and kindness.
We also had the chance to share our special collections of 100. From colourful beads and shiny rocks to tasty lollies, LEGO pieces, stickers, and M&Ms—there was such a fun and creative variety! Everyone was so proud to show what they had brought in, and we loved seeing how different 100 items could look. Another exciting moment was when we showed off the amazing 100-themed shirts we had made at home. Covered in pom-poms, buttons, stamps, googly eyes, gems and more, each shirt was unique and full of personality!
In the afternoon, our classrooms were filled with smiles as our families joined us for the final part of our celebration. We were so excited to welcome them in and show them what we had been working on. Together, we decorated and ate face biscuits, shared stories about our 100 days of learning, and proudly performed our special 100 Days of Learning song. The moment we received our certificates was a real highlight—we stood tall and proud, knowing how far we’ve come since the start of the year.
We loved being able to show off our classrooms, our work, and all the learning that has happened over the past 100 days. It was a day filled with laughter, love, and learning, and it reminded us all just how much we’ve grown. What an amazing way to celebrate such a big milestone in Kindergarten!
