The Yarrawarrah Public School community would like to acknowledge that we stand amongst the tall trees on the traditional land of the Dharawal speaking people.
We enjoy learning, sharing and playing in our unique bushland setting where sacred white ochre can be found.
Together we walk safely on Country, together we respect Mother Earth, and together we actively learn about our country’s true history and culture for a shared future.
We must always remember that under the playground and classrooms this land was and always will be traditional Aboriginal land.
We pay respect to the Elders past and present, and to the young people of today as they embrace their connection to culture.
We extend our respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples present here today, as we Walk Together and Work Together.
