The frames provide different perspectives for understanding ideas and meaning in visual arts. Complete the following reflection activities in a document to share with your teacher.
In your own words, write a short summary that explains the main ideas from each frame.
Do some additional research. Find another artwork that you think fits the ideas and meaning for each frame. You might start by looking at other artworks from the artists featured in each activity, or by browsing the online collection of a major art gallery like the Art Gallery of NSW or the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia.
Write a one-sentence summary for each artwork that explains why you used it as an example for that frame.
In this module, you have made several artworks that use the frames to explore different perspectives and points of view in Visual arts.
Now you will put together a digital collection to display your finished artworks. You or your teacher might choose one of the learning tools from the Digital Learning Selector.
Alternatively, the Gallery Walk template could be used to arrange and display your artworks.
Display each of your artworks on its own page or slide. For each artwork, complete the following reflection and evaluation activities. You might record your written responses on a separate slide, or underneath your artwork image.
Record a citation, including your name, the title of the artwork, the year it was created, the materials used, and its size.
Identify which of the four frames informed the making of this artwork.
Explain the intended meaning of this artwork. What ideas have you represented? How have you communicated those ideas?
How does this artwork reflect your understanding of one of the frames?
