Use this social structure diagram to answer the following questions (write paragraph answers in your CC books; you could use the Retroactive textbooks to help find more information): 

1) Explain the role of a vizier.

2) Compare the role of a Pharaoh, and the role of a peasant. 

Research Task- Individual Task

Choose one of the following Ancient Egyptian inventions:

Papyrus Calendar Plough Sundial

Create an information poster using your research information. When the poster is complete (A3 page size) it will be scanned so you can upload it to your website (on the Ancient Egypt page). 

1) What questions might you ask about the invention? Think about what information you might need if you were to explain the invention to someone who has never seen or heard of it before. List them in your workbooks.

2) Organise your questions into an appropriate order, and research the answers using the textbook, notes we have completed in class, as well as the internet.

3) Use these notes to create your poster. 

4) Include relevant photos/images.

5) Remember to complete a bibliography. 

NB: DO NOT just copy text from websites- your work will be checked for plagiarism. Use key words, phrases and summaries to help put the information you find into your own words.
