We measured the insects growth by weighing them individually in a container, weighed by grams. We then used a ruler, both millimetres and centimetres to measure with width and length. Measuring the insects was quite difficult as they want to crawl all over and out of the container.

*Above: If you click 'Week1' and so on, will show you the growth of the insects and the averages for each week.*
We decided to only measure 5 different insects each measuring day as we can then work out the average. This method made it easier and more efficient when measuring our insects, instead of finding and measuring all 20 insects.
Biotic: Feeding are insects the correct leaves help them put on weight and grow, as you can see in the table below they put on a few grams each week from the eucalyptus leaves.
Abiotic: The insects are able to live, function and grow by the environment they are surrounded by. Our insects live an in environment that enables them to receive non-direct sunlight, fresh eucalyptus leaves to eat, play and live in.
