Activity 1
Watch the video by Traditional Owner, Shannon Foster up to the 10 minute mark. Shannon in her video “Yana’o Kai’eemagh” (walking on Georges River Country) takes viewers on a walk to explore the Georges River as she shares the stories, knowledge, plants and animals that belong to the Country of this beautiful stretch of water. Shannon explains how Aboriginal people use some of the plants along the Georges River.

Activity 3
Using the Aboriginal Plant uses guide above, and with the supervision of an adult, go outside and see if you can find some of the plants that are described in the guide. Record what the Aboriginal people used the plants for.
