Our Parents and Citizens’ Association (P&C) is made up of parents and carers, teachers and community members. The P&C meets regularly to contribute to decision-making, developing policies and management plans as well as fundraising. PLEASE JOIN US!
Our role as the P&C is to support the school community in several ways:
Running Out of School Hours Care (OOSH)
OOSH employs full-time and casual staff, and provides before and after school care, as well as vacation care. OOSH is an integral part of the school and we are fortunate to have an OOSH that offers high quality care within the school grounds.
Running the Uniform Shop
The Uniform Shop is managed by a dedicated group of P&C members. Our aim is to provide affordable uniforms to the school community in a convenient and timely manner.
Undertaking fundraising activities to support the educational outcomes of the school.
We continue to work very closely with the school to ensure our fundraising activities are in line with the School’s funding requirements. We hold a number of fund-raisers across the year – Parent’s Night Out, Moonlight Cinema, School Disco, Fun Run, Halloween Night and Election Day BBQs.
Supporting and assisting with school community events - “Friend Raising”
The P&C helps the school to run events which may or may not have a fundraising focus, but nevertheless play an important role in making our school a great place to be and creating a sense of community. The P&C assists the school on different event days across the year, including Mother’s Day Stall, the Easter Hat Parade, Father’s Day Stall and Book Week.
