Birth and Death

Eddie Mabo was born on the 29th of June 1936 to Annie Mabo and Robert Zezou Sambo and died in Brisbane on the 21st of January 1992 and the peoples rights he fought for mourned his death. When he died he was 55 years old and died due to lung cancer. After his death he was buried in Townsville on the 1st of February 1992 and later, he was buried in his home village Las, Murray Islands on the 18th of September 1995.
