Please note: The P&C Uniform Shop is owned by the P&C and run by parent volunteers.

OFFICIAL SCHOOL UNIFORM

It is expected that all children wear school uniform throughout the year. This helps newcomers to fit into the school, develop a sense of school spirit and makes the children more easily identifiable in a public place A ‘No Hat - Shade Play’ policy exists at Cardiff South Public School, whereby all students are required to wear a hat for all outdoor school activities. Enclosed shoes must be worn for all activities, including special out of uniform days. Nail polish, make-up, excessive jewellery, spacers or large earrings are not permitted to be worn at school.

Summer Uniform

Boys:

Monday- Thursday: Plain navy shorts, school polo, white socks, black shoes and school hat.

Friday: Plain navy shorts, House shirt and sensible joggers (preferably white) and school hat.

Girls:

Monday-Thursday: Plain navy shorts or skort, school polo, white socks, black shoes and school hat.

Friday: Plain navy shorts or skort, House shirt and sensible joggers (preferably white) and school hat.

Winter Uniform

Boys:

Monday-Thursday: Plain navy long pants, school polo, school fleece jumper, school jacket, white socks, black shoes and school hat. A plain navy skivvy, spencer or long sleeve shirt may be worn underneath the school polo for additional warmth. Plain navy gloves may also be worn.

Friday: Navy track pants, House shirt and school jacket, white socks, joggers and school hat.

Girls:

Monday-Thursday: Plain navy pants (inc. bootleg), school polo, school fleece jumper, school jacket, white socks, black shoes and school hat. A plain navy skivvy, spencer or long sleeve shirt may be worn underneath the school polo for additional warmth. Navy stockings underneath skorts or shorts are permissible as are plain navy gloves.

Friday: Navy track pants or bootleg tights, school polo, school jacket, white socks, joggers and school hat.

Accessories

·         Navy hair accessories

·         Plain stud or sleeper earrings

·         Watch

·         1 signet ring

·         Gold bangle (baby/Christening)

A small number of second-hand uniform items are available at minimal cost at the office.

Uniform Shop

The uniform shop is run by parent volunteers and is open every Wednesday morning between 8:40am and 9.30am. If this time is not convenient to you, orders may be left at the front office. Orders are collected each afternoon and processed on the next Wednesday.
