If your child is turning 5 on or before July 31 and you are interested in a possible Kindergarten enrolment, please complete the Department of Education's online Application to Enrol to enrol your child for Kindergarten at Cardiff South Public School. Alternatively, you can contact the Administration office on ph: 02 4954 7296 for a hard copy form.

The following documentation is required to finalise enrolment. Please ensure all documentation is included in your enrolment application prior to submitting it to the school office.

Proof of Residential Address (Originals to be sighted at the office)
Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement
Birth Certificate (original to be sighted at the office)
Preschool reports (if available)
Copies of any Family Law or other relevant court orders (if applicable)
Copies of medical/healthcare reports or emergency action plans (if applicable)
Evidence of disability or other support needs, including any learning and support plans.
Once we receive all documentation, the school will contact you to make an appointment for an enrolment interview at school with our Principal.
This is a friendly 'getting to know you' session and tour of our beautiful school, where your family can meet the Principal and you can ask any questions you have. One or both parents may attend with your child. This is also an opportunity for you to tell us about your child and to discuss any additional needs. The Principal will be checking your enrolment documents at this session so please ensure you bring them to the school office with you on your interview day. The admin team will sight and copy them.
Kindergarten 2026 will commence on Monday 2nd February 2026. Further information will be provided at Kindergarten Orientation on what to expect for the first day of school.
