NOTE: Unfortunately the site used for this task is no longer available for student use within NSW Department of Education school settings. Should students wish to complete this task at home it has been left on the site. If does allow students to follow a series of instructions and have success in a simplistic text-based coding language.
This task is designed to be used in the classroom as a preliminary activity. It allows students to have quick success using code to be creative. It allows teachers to observe the way students work in the classroom, both as independent learners and users of technology. It is not meant to be a drawn out activity and should be completed in approximately an hour.
