Best Start

Best Start Kindergarten Assessment is a literacy and numeracy assessment conducted for all Kindergarten students in the first weeks of school. It identifies student’s literacy and numeracy skills on entry to Kindergarten. It has been conducted in all NSW Public Schools since 2010.

• Assessments/interviews will take approximately 45 mins and will occur in week 1 next year.

• It is also an opportunity for teachers to meet with parents/carers to discuss your child and to answer any questions you may have regarding starting school.
