FINAL DAY OF HOME LEARNING!
Welcome to the final week of online learning! We have been busy planning a new week of exciting lessons and tasks for you.
All the Year 3 teachers are all enjoying seeing your work on Seesaw, at school and on the Home Learning Hub. Everything you will need to know, and access is here on the Home Learning Hub to download and use. If you have any issues, please contact the school office via email or your class teacher via Sentral Parent Portal.
English
This term you will have a range of English tasks to complete ranging from reading, writing and spelling. In addition to this, we will start a new program called Sentence of the Day. You will also see the return of weekly Kids News and Behind the News to support reading and speaking and listening.
Maths
In Mathematics this week, we will learn about mass, a fun and hands-on topic. Each day there will be Maths Mentals and Outdoor Maths tasks you may wish to complete for an extra challenge and to get your body moving.
Other KLAs
In addition to this, you will also have CAPA and PDHPE lessons. This week we have continued to provide some extra sport options to get you up and moving. Have a look for these along the bottom of the Weekly Schedule. For the first three weeks of Term 4, students will be completing an exciting Science project. Please see the Signmee from last term for further information about materials required. Students who are attending school as essential students can bring their materials into school to complete their project.
You will find some extra activity grids under the Year 3 menu. If you are looking for extra tasks to keep you busy, have a look!
Don’t forget to join the Help Desk for you to join between 10-11am to ask a question about a task you are unsure of or require some extra assistance with. This is setup with a reoccurring Zoom link, available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
Thank you for your ongoing support. We hope you have a fantastic week jam packed full of excitement, learning and engagement. Stay safe and keep smiling!
