FINAL DAY OF HOME LEARNING!
Education Week 2021 will be held from 26-30 July (Week 3, Term 3). Education Week is an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of our school, students and learning community.
This year’s theme is ‘Lifelong learners’ and celebrates education as a lifelong journey from before a child enters an early childhood setting, progressing to primary and secondary school, and continuing their learning journey into adulthood; learning a trade, entering tertiary education, or the workforce.
Continuous learning is critical for success throughout life and everyone can be a lifelong learner.
We are developing lifelong learners and our education system is available for a lifetime.
From the first days in child care to post-school pathways, our education system is preparing young people to be agile thinkers and lifelong learners.
Learning can look different for individual students and our system is equipped to provide learning support for all of our students.
Learning often takes place beyond the classroom and we should celebrate all types of learning that occurs at all levels across our education system.

Research is clear about the important role of creative activity for mental and physical wellbeing. This webinar includes a panel discussion with teachers, school leaders and an ex-student that was convened as part of the Bushfire Relief Strategy Phoenix Conference in April and will be led by Professor Michael Anderson from University of Sydney’s CREATE Centre. The panel presents insights and personal stories about the impact of arts programs in schools and how to maximise opportunities for students to engage in these positive and protective activities.
There will be an opportunity to engage in a chat/live discussion with some of the participants during the webinar.
10am, Friday 30 July
Students will have the chance to share their aspirations and ideas for learning when they sit down with Baulkham Hills North Public School Principal, Graham Holmes during Education Week. ‘A conversation … ‘ will involve four School Leaders zooming in to discuss with Mr Holmes the future of learning at BHNPS, their aspirations and how they would like to undertake their learning in the future.
