What does a school day look like at Balmain Public School?

Families are welcome to attend our Friday assemblies at 9am, weather permitting.
Awards for the week are handed out and other important information is relayed.
Teachers endeavour to inform families if their child is receiving an award, however, please understand this is not always possible.
Specialist teachers

During the school week, students will have the opportunity to be taught by our specialist teachers across the school.
In 2025, our specialist lessons include: Library, STEAM, and Music. Please note: there may be variations to the specialist lessons in 2026.
Teachers will provide further details about which days students go where in Term 1, once timetabling has been finalised.
