Supervised Hours: 8:30 - 3pm
School Day: 9am - 3pm
Active supervision of students in the playground begins at 8.30 am. The areas of supervision are the GN courts (if students enter via the Great North Road gate) or under the BP COLA (if students enter the school grounds via Blackwall Point Road or Raynor Avenue gate). School ends at 3pm.
OOSH (Out of School Hours Care) is available after 3pm. You will need to contact Abbotsford Community Centre for all enrolment information.

9 am: School starts; students line up at their classroom or designated area.
9-11 am: Learning Time
11-11:10 am: Eating time: in designated playground area
11:10-11:20 am: Recess play outside
11:20 am-12:50 pm: Learning Time
12:50-1 pm: Eating time: in designated playground area
1-1:15 pm: Lunch play outside (First half lunch)
1:15-1:35 pm: Lunch play outside (Second half lunch)
1:35-3 pm: Learning Time
3 pm: Home Time
K-2 Students dismissed to a parent/caregiver or collected by OOSH Educators.
3-6 Students are able to make their own way home.
Late Arrivals/Early Leavers
If your child is late to school or you need to collect them early, please visit the school's front office at the Great North Rd (GN) end of the school before going to their classroom.
Recess and Lunch Playtime
Kindergarten students can enjoy a variety of activities during recess and lunch play time that build creativity, teamwork, as well as gross and fine motor skills. They also have allocated days to visit the oval and playground equipment. The teachers on playground duty wear a fluro yellow vest and the SLSOs (School Learning Support Officers) wear a fluro pink vest so students can easily recognise them, if they need assistance. Particularly at the beginning of the year, we also do our best to have Kindergarten teachers on duty in the kindergarten area as much as possible, so students are familiar with them and feel comfortable asking for help when needed.
