Genre : Short Story
Many of us think that having wealth means having happiness but we are wrong to think that because money can't buy happiness. Just like in the story, the old man chases happiness for the past eighty years but stays gloomy and creates the feeling of unhappiness in others. One day when he turned eighty and decided to enjoy life, he understood the true meaning of happiness and advised everyone to enjoy life as well. From the story, we learn that instead of chasing happiness, we should enjoy each and every moment of our lives.

Genre : Poem
The poem shares the theme about love, freedom, peace and equality. It shows a world without evil and greed would look like and how beautiful our Earth would be if everyone thinks of good and peace. A world where nothing matters, the people share no boundaries, consider themselves as equal and one. If such a world with these kinds of thoughts prevail, each and every problem that is occurring would solve on its own.

It is a poem so well written that it has the potential to inspire others. When the poem is read from top to down, it express how negatively a person views oneself with the thought that beauty is neither inside nor outside. Whereas upon reading the poem from bottom to up, it expresses the opposite of the former, it shows how a person no matter what others say has positive view of oneself. He/She believes that it has beauty and deserves love.
This two way poem shows us that we should never be affected by what other people say. We should always have a positive view of ourselves and be happy.

The message behind the poem is that if we are not kind, honest and willing to forgive others, then we should stop worshipping the statues of god because gods are not within the four walls of a temple or in a statue. Instead god is everywhere and in everyone, so if you help someone god will surely bless you and always be there for you.
