Stationary
Stationeries are the materials that we require daily in the process of teaching and learning. This will be issued towards the end of the day and it will not be entertained during class hours except during emergency. Therefore teachers are asked to plan ahead of a day and list down the materials required for the next day. Proper record must be maintained of all the materials issued. The store in-charge should consult the Principal in case the stock is on the verge of exhaustion.
The non-consumables and returnable stationeries must be returned back to the store. It is the duty of the teacher to return and the duty of the store in-charge to collect and store properly. The store in-charge is accountable and liable to be audited for issues related to stationeries. The unreturned items must be compensated at the end of the year. The Principal will go through the update of the stock at the end of each year. A review of the store management will be done during the annual review meeting.
Textbook Issue criteria:
Textbooks must be issued and received in a system that both the parties are accountable. Therefore everyone shall follow the following procedures for making requisition and returning of textbooks.
· The store in-charge along with class teacher issues the books to the class with proper record of quality in the remarks column.
· By the end of the year, the store in-charge along with the class teacher collects the textbooks based on the issue record.
· The store in-charge must be answerable to audits for all the textbooks.
Furniture
The school furniture is taken care by the furniture in-charge of the school by making proper action plan for repair and maintenance. The furniture will be distributed as per the availability and criteria for different classes. The support staff shall do the maintenance of the furniture on regular basis under the guidance and instruction of the furniture in-charge. The class teachers and the in-charges must take proper care of the furniture under their jurisdictions. If any extra furniture exists the staff of the school residing within the school premise might borrow on the condition that they must unconditionally return when the school authority asks them to.
Computers and other office equipments
Computers and all other office equipments belongs to the school, therefore all should take care of all the equipments at all times. No one will be allowed to take any equipment to their quarters for personal use or any other purpose. They should be used in the school and should remain in the school at all times and if it is misused concern staff will be ask for statement.
Driglam namzha
Driglam namzha the Bhutanese etiquette for day-to-day life and for ceremonies is a vast subject. It is a very important component of our tradition and culture that makes it very unique and beautiful, admired by the outside world. The school will make the following arrangement to offer driglam namzha education to students.
Driglam namzha talk will be held on every Tuesday during morning assembly by TOD
Areas to be covered in the Driglam namzha session will be as follows.
Ways and methods of dressing up – Gho/Kira/Kabney/Rachu.
Behaviour –ceremony.
Actions and behavior with different levels of people.
Religious occasions.
Respect for others.
Ways of talking with elders and parents.
STUDENTS SAFETY RULES
All the teachers, house masters, TODs and even supporting staff shall enforce the safety and security measures framed by the school. We will be accountable and responsible once we deploy students for various activities. Ensure proper instructions is given, followed and guided if children are to execute any kind of works. TODs need to be very vigilant and will be responsible/ answerable if any mishaps take place.
Do not go to the river side or river banks to swim, wash, and bathe. You might get drowned or washed away by the swift river current.
Do not climb on the trees, you might fall down and break your hands and legs or you will die.
Do not eat any wild fruits as it may contain poison.
Do not throw stones and sticks above and below the path, sometimes there will be people and animals at their work.
Do not run on the path as you might get hurt yourself.
Do not run after the vehicles as it is not safe, you might get over run by the vehicle and lose your precious life.
Do not trust unknown people or people that you do not know them but it does not mean that you have to make fun or mock at them.
Always go in groups, come in groups never leave your friends behind.
Do not push or pull your friends on the path, your friends might get hurt.
Never go to the land slide area. You might get buried.
Never go to the forest alone you might meet with animals like bears/wild boars and other wild animals. They might kill you.
Never play with knife, blade, compass and other sharp things.
Do not play with Bhukhari as you might get burnt.
During worse weathers like thunder, lightning and storm one should remain in the house or class. Never attempt to go outside; you may lose your precious life.
Never ever play with the electricity. Donot play with electric switch and sockets in the classes.
Do not throw stones/pelt stones, stick to one another. It might hurt your friends.
Always be careful and listen properly to avoid accidents.

Note: Mishaps and accident taken place to any individual outside school compound and in odd hours will not be covered by the aforementioned safety rules. The school administration should not be held responsible if such mishaps/accidents happen outside school compound. Parents of school coming were duly informed during PTM.
POLICY ON SCHOOL BOOKS
Students should be informed or encouraged to use book covers.
Students should not write or scribble on the text books/readers issued from the store or library.
Teachers should guide and teach children on how to handle books.
Damaged and lost of books should be brought to the notice of the concerned in charges and fine shall be imposed as per the invoice.
Fine imposed shall be submitted to the Dzongkhag Revenue Office and receipt be maintained in the school.
Give due recognition to the students who have taken outmost care.
Class teacher should help students to repair damaged books.
Give talk to students in the assembly by the TODs and in the class by the class teacher and subject teachers concerned.
