Some time ago, the Covid-19 virus caused us to spend a long time in quarantine. During this time, we had a lot of time to enjoy our family and relax. However, there was great boredom. People spent most of their time on the Internet or watching TV. I was one of those who watched a lot of movies. That is why today I come to tell you about one film that has impressed me a lot and I recommend that you see it.
The movie is called Adú. This tells us three different stories but with one point in common: the poverty of Africa and the extreme situation in which the people who live there find themselves.
One of the stories stars a little boy and his older sister. These are crouched in an airport, waiting to be able to enter the holds of an airplane and escape from the continent to reach Europe.
Meanwhile, the second story is about an environmental activist who will have to fight against the poaching of animals, while also struggling with his daughter's problems.
On the other hand, the last one story shows a group of civil guards who will face their day to day with the number of people who try to jump the fence in Melilla, in an attempt to escape from their lives on the African continent and find a better place to live.
'Adu' is a film that tries to show illegal immigration from the point of view of the people who suffer it. These people have to leave their lives behind and do their best to find a better place.
I recommend this movie if only for the reflections that it originates in us, since it is an emotional experience that shows us the sad reality of the African continent.
