5ºA
A VISIT TO THE MUSEO UNIVERSIDAD DE NAVARRA
by Israa, Dayana, Justin, Samuel and Oliver
This year, the classes of 5ºA and 5ºB visited the Museo Universidad de Navarra. We visited an exhibition related to trips around the world, the different landscapes, people and culture.
First we spoke about the Roman Empire and the clothes Romans used to wear. Then, we saw how they built houses. We also saw Roman girls with beautiful hair. Their clothes were made of plant fibers and animal fur.
In Egypt, there were old pyramids and a sphynx, a lion with a human head.
We saw birds and plants typically found in different places of the world, and people wearing their typical dresses.
There were also some pictures that showed traditions, food, people… of ancient America.
Finally, we went to do a drawing of our favorite country and we saw the map of the world. It was a funny and interesting activity.
CARNIVAL 2024
by Alisia, Jayco, Eric, Aya and Fátima
This year, in February, we celebrated Carnival at José María de Huarte School. We had been working on the Goals of the Agenda 2030, and each class dressed up according to what they had studied:
(3 years) Crabs.
(4 years) Rainbow fish.
(5 years) Starfish.
(u.t) Turtles.
(1º) Containers.
(2º) Submarines.
(3º) Fruits.
(4º) Plumbers.
(5º) All countries.
(6º) Explorers.
Before we started the show, we were offered croissants and hot chocolate to eat and drink.
The day of the carnival was divided into two parts: first the little ones and then those from third grade onwards. This was due to the rain and bad weather.
We had a great time that day!
5ºB
Football excursion
by Julissa, Fatou, Imane, Imanol
Last Monday 18 of March, the classes of 5ºA and 5ºB went with the P.E teacher to a place called Larrabide. We were invited by the Federación Navarra de Fútbol to participate in some football activities.
We left school at 9:00 and we took a bus to Larrabide. We were welcomed by members of the football federation. Then we did some warming activities. After that they gave us T-shirts that we wore while we were doing sports activities, including a football match.
Then, we had a snack that they gave us. Later we continued with the sports activities. When we finished the sports activities, they gave us a diploma and a few minutes later a team of girls from 6th grade started to dance.
