MOLLY
Hello! My name is Molly, and I am one of the Auxiliares de Conversación at El Bercial. I am originally from Connecticut, a small state on the Northeastern coast of the United States, and I recently graduated from Boston College with a bachelor's degree in Applied Psychology and Human Development. I love working with children of all ages, and I'm especially thrilled to get to know the students and teachers of El Bercial. I have experience teaching English to immigrants in the United States, as well as being a part-time language and cultural assistant in Italy. This year, I hope to bring what I have learned from my previous experiences to the El Bercial community to help students grow more confident in their English-speaking abilities and encourage them to view language learning as an enjoyable and rewarding experience.

Hi everyone! My name is Celia Mathay and I am one of the returning Auxiliares de Conversación at C.E.I.P. El Bercial this year. I am from the United States, and I grew up in a small town in northern New Jersey. In May of 2023, I graduated from Boston College with a bachelor's degree in Applied Psychology and Human Development. I am the oldest of four siblings and have always loved working with children—I have prior experience as a private tutor for middle and high school students, as well as a Spanish language instructor for kindergarten and first grade students. I am so excited to apply and expand upon these experiences at C.E.I.P. El Bercial, and cannot wait to share my language and culture with your students for a second year!
ELLIE
Hi everyone! My name is Ellie and I am one of the Auxiliares de Conversación at C.E.I.P El Bercial this year. I am from Northern England, near a city called Manchester, and I recently graduated from Edge Hill University with a bachelor’s degree in English literature. I volunteered at a nursery during secondary school and have recently completed a Trinity CerTESOL course in Barcelona. I also have a younger brother who is currently in secondary school so I have helped him with his studies too. I have always enjoyed working with children and helping them be engaged and motivated as part of their learning, and am looking forward to exchanging both language and culture with your students. This year, I hope to expand on my experience and fully integrate into the El Bercial community, and help the students grow in confidence and ability.
KARTIK
Hey everyone! I am Kartik. I come from a land of diverse culture which is India. I did my graduation in Economics and Mathematics but somehow, I found my peace and passion while studying Spanish. Spanish as a language, opened doors of opportunity for me and it made me land into a beautiful country called Spain. I have been an Auxiliar in Castilla La Mancha in 2022 and now, this year I am here in Madrid. I have a prior experience of teaching in a Highschool in Delhi and i have also worked with various Online Education Companies. I have taught students from different age groups, and this is something that makes me versatile. I love to learn something every day and my students really end up teaching me something or the other. This year I am focused to work hard to help these tiny buds to blossom in their best potential with some fun filled classes.
