The 3-year-olds celebrated Christmas with a Christmas-themed story called Little Duck's First Christmas. Then, the students all took turns decorating a Christmas tree with different colors: blue, green, yellow, red, and pink.
The 4-year-olds played a counting game involving some newly-learned Christmas vocabulary, including Santa Claus, snowman, sleigh, present, reindeer, and Christmas tree.
The 4- and 5-year-olds practiced their comprehension of Christmas vocabulary and colors by participating in a color dictation. In a color dictation, students must color according to the teacher's direction (e.g., "color the snowman blue").

Christmas Bingo
To get in the holiday spirit the 4th and 5th graders played a game of Christmas bingo where they were given a description of Christmas things and must properly match them to the correct word. Also, a traditional Christmas poem was read to them, and they also had the chance to rehearse some Christmas themed songs.
