Our uniform was chosen by our learners and families through workshops and consultation in May 2025. Uniform forms an important part of our identity. It immediately unites us and enables us to focus on having fun and learning instead of what we are wearing.
All uniform and shoes should be clearly labelled or marked with a sharpie. Our school logo is not part of our uniform, meaning that you can purchase our uniform from any shop you wish to.
Hoodies: Hoodies & hooded tops are not part of our school uniform or PE uniform. Jumpers, fleeces and cardigans are all suitable cosy layers.
You may be entitled to the school clothing grant, you can apply through East Lothian Council (application can be found here). This is £130 per year per primary child. This can really help, especially with shoes.
Lost Property: Lost property for the school is held at the playground doors. Each term any lost property not collected will be washed and recycled into our clothing bank.

Light blue t-shirt or polo shirt

On PE Days children should come to school in their school PE uniform. Tracksuits, hoodies, branded clothes or casual clothes are not appropraite.
Our uniform colours are widely available through supermarkets and high street stores, both in store and online. We advise purchasing/ordering in advance to avoid not being able to get the size you need.
Remember, you will need a pair of indoor shoes to change into when you come into school. Wellies & trainers are all great for walking to school. Plimsolls and school shoes are great for keeping as indoor shoes at school, plimsolls are especially great as they double up as PE shoes meaning 1 less pair to buy. Avoiding laces on shoes is a good idea for children who haven't mastered how to tie them yet. Independence is really important in being able to change shoes and get coats on.
