Group 5 Mathematics

Mathematics and TOK 

 Students are encouraged to consider questions related to mathematics and theory of knowledge, such as the nature of mathematics, mathematical truths, rigor of mathematical proofs and applicability of mathematics to real life phenomena. The syllabus gives examples of such questions, e.g. “Are logarithms an invention or a discovery?”
