This workshop will explore the use of Chromebooks and some of the things you can do with them. You will learn what a Chromebook is, what makes them different from a regular laptop, and how to make the most of having them in your class. We will look at the best ways to manage them and what you can do with them (It’s more than just Google Docs!) Bring a Chromebook if you can, but there will also be a few loan machines available to you.
Please let us know what you need by adding your ideas to this Doc

Chrome is "just a browser"... Really? Then it's pretty amazing what you can do in "just a browser" these days!
Choose one of the following Chrome Apps and spend 15 minutes exploring it... and be prepared to share your learning with the rest of the group afterwards.
Using Chromebooks and GSuite, let's create a collaborative Slides presentation together.
Open this Google Slideshow (it's a blank Google Slides file, and has been pre-shared so that Anyone with the link can Edit)
Your task, as a team, is to collaboratively create a slideshow about the use of Chromebooks. Claim a blank slide to work on, and start working! You have about 15 minutes to finish the whole presentation! Remember to work as a team so you don't all add the same information.
