If you already use Google Classroom this session aims to help you use it more effectively to manage the paperless workflow between you and your students. Dive into examples of how Classroom’s core tools of Announcements, Questions and Assignments can be used. We will look at ways you can digitise existing tasks, and provide effective feedback to students. Please be prepared to share examples of your own Classroom use with the group.
If you've been using Classroom for a while, you probably already have some great ideas and suggestions for how you're using it. Share some stories of how you're using it with the group by adding them to this Doc.
What kinds of tasks and projects do you currently ask your students to do? How could you move some of those into a digital format?
What worksheets or activities do you give your students right now? And could they be redesigned to be more digital? What would lend itself into being a "digital manipulative"?
What online resources, sites, activities, games, etc, could you use to have students complete through classroom?
How could you use Google Forms to create self marking quizzes?
Don't be limited to just the tools inside G Suite... Many tools integrate directly into the Classroom API, and you can integrate ANY web based tool into a Classroom activity by using the link option.
