VOLLEYBALL - $110

Incoming 6th and 7th grade females only. (8:45-11:30) Min. 18/Max. 25

Campers will focus on improving a broad set of volleyball skills and increasing fitness levels. The clinic will cover basics for beginners as well as begin learning higher level skills. We will also spend time competing each day. Please have campers bring water and healthy snack.


Incoming 8th and 9th grade females only. (12:30-3:15) Min. 18/Max. 25

STAR WARS! BAND AND ORCHESTRA CAMP - $350

July 15 - July 26 (M-F)


Students will receive specialized individual instruction on their instrument, chamber music, full ensembles and solo performing. Repertoire will consist of the great movie scores of John Williams: Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Harry Potter and Indiana Jones. For students who are entering grades 7, 8 and 9. One week participation is an option. (Minimum-20)


BEGINNER BAND AND ORCHESTRA CAMP - $150

July 29 - August 1, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.


Intended to prepare incoming 6th graders for beginning band and orchestra class. Only offered for students entering 6th grade. Students will receive instruction on instrument assembly, instrument maintenance, embouchure, sound production, tuning and reading music. Instruments should be purchased or rented prior to the first day of camp. (Minimum-20)


LATIN BOOT CAMP - $150

Latin students who want a refresher can come for a week of sessions where they will be taken through the major grammatical concepts covered in the first year of Latin. Ideal for students who struggled with the first year of Latin and are trying to start with a more solid foundation in the second year. Min. 10/Max. 25


LATIN INTRODUCTORY CAMP - $150

Students who are new to the school or simply new to Latin study are invited to a week of sessions during which they will be introduced to the best learning practices in Latin as well as vocabulary and grammatical concepts in both English and Latin that will be covered in the first two months of the school year. Ideal for those wanting to hit the ground running in the new school year. Min. 10/Max. 25

This camp is designed for students who have already taken a year of Latin and are interested in gaining some modern language experience. We will explore the connections between the Latin and Spanish languages and will spend the week listening, reading, writing, and speaking Spanish. Students will be amazed at how quickly and with what facility they are enabled to learn Spanish due to their Latin knowledge. This camp will be very engaging, so come ready to jump in and participate fully! Min. 5/Max. 15

UNDERSTANDING STORY FOR GRADES 6 THRU 9 - $150

A camp on the basic structure and archetypes of stories, from looking at symbolism and plot arc in Aesop, to archetypes and hero cycles in the Iliad and Movies. Concludes in analyzing the structure, foreshadowing, inversion, archetypes, internal and external hero journey in a movie. Min. 10/Max. 25


WRITING FOR GRADES 6 THRU 9 - $150

A camp introducing academic writing. We will examine different sentence patterns and styles, MLA format, basic 5-sentence paragraphs, building a text-based argument, and a 5 paragraph essay.

MUCH ADO ABOUT DRAMA & IMPROV FOR GRADES 6 THRU 9 - $150

Love drama? This camp will work with voice projection, stage presence, memorizing lines, interpreting scenes, and improvisation, through Shakespeare’s “Much Ado About Nothing”, culminating in presentations of scenes from the play.

READING AND WRITING BOOST FOR EMERGING LITERACY

Would you like to strengthen your child’s reading skills? This camp utilizes proven phonetic methods to reinforce linguistic patterns and boost decoding skills. Students will participate in a combination of reading and writing activities that will unveil delights of the English language while reinforcing fundamental literacy principles. This dynamic camp improves writing, reading and spelling through games, chants and literature.
