PLAYER RESPONSIBILITIES

Membership Registration

Full season registration is REQUIRED for all players participating in U13 & U15 rugby. Memberships are valid from 01 May to 30 April of the next calendar year.

Player Transfers

Domestic Transfers. A player wishing to transfer from one Club to another must submit their request for transfer through the online registration system five (5) business days prior to the match they wish to participate in.

International Transfers. In accordance with World Rugby Regulation 4, when moving to another country all players (both youth & adults) are required to obtain international clearance from their current Union in order to play rugby for a club in another Union.

Dispensations

The Rugby Alberta Application for Dispensation form must be completed and submitted to the Rugby Alberta Office seven (7) days before the player wishes to participate in any rugby-related activities in the requested different age category.
