Rugby Union is a sport that involves physical contact. Any sport involving physical contact has inherent dangers. All those involved are to act to uphold the values of the game without adding unnecessary, and undisciplined foul play to our wonderful game. It is incumbent on all spectators, players, coaches, match and team officials to uphold the principles of the sport but this duty cannot rest on them alone. The Disciplinary officers of the ERU play a vital role in maintaining safe and sporting play.
