What? So What? Now What? Reflection Script:
My name is Bjorn Behrendt and this is my course reflection for ePortfolios for Learning and Assessment, that I took the Spring of 2011
ePortfolio's is defiantly one of the hottest topics in schools today. This was a self-paced class that gave us the freedom to do our own research, and really play with the structure. The readings I most related to was that of Helen Barrett and Jonathon Richter of the University of Oregon's Center for Advanced Technology in Education. It is their What? So What? Now What? reflection model that I have chosen to use throughout my own ePortfolio.
Building websites which I do professionally is very similar to building an ePortfolio, or so I thought. Creating this portfolio has defiantly grown my understanding of the need for reflection in addition to just showcasing data.
I plan to take what I learned and build an ePortfolio program for the school I work for. I also hope to refine my skills and follow it up with the creation of more training materials.
Thank you and have a good day.
