Unfortunately I lost the actual written proposal that I wrote when I switched jobs, however an overview of what I suggested can be seen below.
The current model was that each school in the supervisory union held a part-time technician. I proposed that they move to a supervisory union model where there would be one lead technical administrator and one assistant. By dong this it provided the supervisory union with a more unified technology structure and pooled resources. The plan also included professional development time during administrative team meetings and a teacher leadership role for integration.
The program was adopted.
