Reasons to Keep Playing Over the Summer
So you don't forget how to play
You can continue to practice through the summer, and keep your music muscles strong! Think about how much you forget even after short school breaks!
We can get started right away
You will not have to wait to receive your instrument in the fall, you will already have everything you need! Remember how this year, some of you had to wait until October to get your instruments! Renting your instrument over the summer means you won’t have to wait at all :)

FREE SUMMER MONTHS might be available to you if you renew your rental!

The instruments from Elefante & The Music Shop are rent-to-own. The money your parents have paid into renting your instrument is going towards owning that instrument! If you return it, you will have to start all over in the fall and any money you have already paid will not be added towards that final cost.

Renewing your rental
(Recommended)
You can renew your rental agreement through the rental companies. It is suggested that you reach out directly to your rental company to discuss the details of your contract!
Returning your instrument
Please contact The Music Shop, Elefante Music, or Music & Arts to request to return your instrument
Once you have contacted the rental company and received instructions, return the instrument to the rental storefront, or bring it to John Marshall for pick up.
Please make sure you contact your student's teacher to indicate they are doing a school return
If this procedure is not followed, additional fees may result! Remember: the rental contract is between the parent and vendor. Please call the vendor with any problems or questions.
