The Visualization+Data curriculum offers a semester-long course, divided into six comprehensive units, designed to teach students the essential foundations of data visualization. The course integrates principles from statistics, computer science, neuroscience, and psychology, enabling students to create effective visual representations of data.
All curriculum materials have been developed by high school educators in Burlington and Chelsea, MA, through a backwards design approach using course materials from Bunker Hill Community College as a foundation. These resources are available in Google Docs format, ensuring easy downloading, copying, and customization for local educational needs.
To access the full course materials, simply use the Visualization+Data dropdown menu in the navigation bar.
