Please ensure you have completed Introduction to BSSS Workshop One before embarking on this course, as it is assumed knowledge.
This workshop will cover the following areas:

Types of Student Packages and requirements for each
ACT Scaling Test (AST)
ACS and Markbooks
Unit Outlines
To receive the two hours of TQI accreditation for this workshop, please read through this site for each section and then complete the Google Form, if one exists, at the end of the page.
The Certification Team of the OBSSS in conjunction with your school Certification Coordinator ensures that all ACT colleges follow the policies and procedures determined by the Board with relation to student packages, assessments, appeals, etc. to ensure equity for all students in the ACT Senior Secondary System.
The BSSS Certification Team also looks after:
ACS (ACT Board of Senior Secondary Studies Certification System) The website used by all ACT colleges to store student data and below there is more information on ACS.
The AST
Scaling and calculating students' course scores and the ATARs
Producing the following Certificates:
Senior Secondary Certificate (SSC)
Tertiary Entrance Statement.
Administering the printing of the following certificates:
VET Certificates of Attainment
Statement of Achievement (this is available for students who have not achieved the requirements for an ACT SSC).
There is a designated Certification Coordinator in each college generally responsible for:
ACS Management, e.g. passwords
Student packages and compliance with the Policies and Procedures Manual
Unit scores and how these are calculated.
