We can publish news as soon as it happens on our website. Breaking news is an important thing to include for any journalism website. This year, I have published many breaking stories including this one about an evacuation blocks away from our school.

Online is the best place to publish film reviews because they can be published immediately, and readers can go see the films while they are still in theaters. I wrote a Star Wars film review on Solo. I saw the movie on opening night and published it for people considering going to the film over the weekend.

Social Media

I use our staff's Instagram page to inform the community of breaking news events and hype up stories that I release. Many of my posts have a key pull quote to spark curiosity and excitement in my audience.

Podcasts

Online creates the opportunity to create more than just text files. As journalists, we are also able to include audio reporting like podcasts. This podcast is one I worked on to convey an experience that came to taught me to believe in myself. Along the way, I also learned some photoshop skills, sound design, and basic editing.

On Top of the WorldEverybody has doubts in their life, but it’s important to not let those doubts get in the way of achieving your dreams.
