Before you begin:
You will need to install a Time-based One-Time Password (TOTP) app on your mobile device. ITS recommends Google Authenticator, as it delivers time-sensitive entries to your device quickly.
IRather, if you currently use Authy, you may continue using the Authy Authenticator.

Connecting your PC or iMac to OpenVPN:
Go to https://vpn.eckerd.edu
Enter your username and password and click Sign In.
If this is your first time logging in, you will need to add the VPN to your Google Authenticator on your mobile device.
Open the application on your phone and chose the Add Account option.
Scan the QR code on your screen when prompted.
Enter the codes your Authenticator app provides when prompted.
(PS: ITS recommends enabling backups of your saved applications)
Download the Connect App for your operating system
Run the installer. This will install the OpenVPN client.
The OpenVPN client will display in the Windows Resource Tray or the OSX Menu Bar.
On mobile devices, visit the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and search OpenVPN Client.
**When prompted, enter the server as vpn.eckerd.edu and port 443.
1) Select the "vpn.eckerd.edu" account, then click CONNECT (the first time you connect, it will ask you allow the connection).
2) Enter your username and password and click OK. If you receive an 'invalid password' error message, reset your password.
3) Open your Authenticator app on your mobile device, select the entry for vpn.eckerd.edu, and type in the code displayed. Then click OK.
4) The word CONNECTED will be displayed in the VPN app. Once connected, you will be able to connect to web sites and remote desktop servers as if you were on campus.
Banner Forms, Communication Management, and Finance (Registration, Staff and Student Profile and the Employee Dashboard do not require VPN)
