Room Draw Schedule

When choosing your room: Only 1 student in the group should log in to choose your groups housing! Multiple students in the same group should not pick their housing in the designated time slot which might confuse the system!

Time Slots: Time slots will be available on the StarRez Portal after the application has closed for each Room Draw, according to the schedule above.

In order to see your time slot, you will need to log back into the StarRez Portal for your application, where you will be brought to a refreshable page. Each member of a roommate group will be given the same timeslot, but only one person will select for the entire group. Once the student choosing has selected the specific room/suite, assigned roommates to specific beds, and clicked "Assign Beds," your group has completed Room Draw. Then, each student must go back into their application to select a meal plan, sign the housing agreement, and be able to view their housing assignment.

If it is past the time that timeslots should be uploaded and you still do not see one, it means that your timeslot fell outside of the selection period and you need to contact the Housing Office to be placed on the waitlist. If for some reason, other groups do not select during the selection period (their preferences were already taken etc.) and there are still beds available, Housing will then reach out to groups on the waitlist. If you did not receive a timeslot be sure to log back into the portal for your backup application. This will most likely mean that you need to adjust your roommate group to fix the amount. You will not be able to go through the selection process unless you have the appropriate amount of roommates. The group leader will need to remove whichever student is no longer apart of the group.

Important to remember: If you miss your designated room draw selection time, you are still able to select until the end of the selection process that day. Please keep in mind that options will lessen as other groups continue to select.
