Please always get with our front office team to double check that all required actions have been taken and your volunteers are cleared to assist us on campus or at school sponsored events (at this time your best resource is Mrs. Armendarez or Mrs. Alice). It is your responsibility to ensure your volunteers are cleared before helping/interacting/working with your students on campus or at campus sponsored events (like field trips, field day, class parties, etc.). All events you plan, and plan to have volunteers attend, require these steps be taken by you (the teacher). The field trip and volunteer info can be found on Milam Central for staff and our families. I have ensured that our PTA parents are clear to help, and our front office receives an updated list from central admin regularly (Erika and Alice can help you with checking our most current volunteer list). Please understand that there will be consequences for allowing parents to interact with students who have not followed ECISDs required background checks and required steps for volunteers.
